Taco time!

This week is one of the snowiest in history and we´re all struggling with all kinds of communication-problems.

Ola and Jens managed to get to Stockholm by train, which is more or less a miracle.

This week is the VERY last week, where the very last mixes, fixes and trix are being made. After tomorrow, there is no turning back, and we are all extremely excited!

A lot of you saw the “Ola Svensson Superstar”-documentary on Swedish TV and in the end there was a snippet of a new song, “Singing ‘Bout The City”.  The version featured in the film was an old demo and the real version can be heard on the forthcoming album, just so you know.

When I was shovelling snow the other day, I came to think about this very special, hot moment in our career and I immediately felt warmer. This was recorded in Austin, Texas a few years ago when we performed at a Taco-barbeque-brunch at a Tex Mex-restaurant called Gueros. One of these moments…

    Aw if you can go to Texas why can't you come to England? Its a whole lot closer, plus theres a ton of my friends who I've converted and want to see you guys play. You are awesome! ^_^

    I forgot, again, to say anything about that “Singing ‘Bout The City”. 'Cause somehow my focus drift somewhre else... But that, indeed, sounds great! Can't await when can listen that wholly song. That remind me that documentary when that possibly have made? Last summer/autumn?

    Hoppas att det går bra! Men killar tåget, är det verkligen en bra idé? Med tanke på snöröjnings problemen? Aja... Jag verkligen älskade "Singing about the city". Den var riktigt örongodis! :-) Satt uppe igår natt och spelade in dokumentären, så nu är den förevigad! :-) Hmm, jag kommer att sakna bloggen om ni lägger ner den... (!?) Kan ni inte lägga upp hela singing about the city, bara för att stilla våran eviga väntan? I just love it! Hehe, tacosen hade säkert varit god om jag inte varit vegitarian... (jippie) Ja ja. den filmsnutten påminner mig om gädjen jag fick efter Olas sommarprat förra året! ;-)
    Sommar käns lite avlägset attt prata om med tanke på allt! Hu... Uch och fy!

    Ps. Vi kan ha en tävling kallad "vem har mest snö?" I Småland har vi ca. 110 cm. snö.

    Hoppas att allt går enligt planerna trots all snö, men nu är ju den nästan borta i alla fall här i Malmö. Så man kan bara hoppas att våren e på väg nu!

    Jag gilla verkligen ´"Singing ‘Bout The City” i den versionen ni gjorde i filmen, men det ska bli jätte kul att få höra vad ni gjort med den nu.
    Nu börjar längtan efter skivan bli olidlig...

    Tack för klippet också, har alltid gillat det. De skulle varit kul att vara där ;)

    Ola sang those lyrics in a very specially lovely way.
    The words sound so good in that demo version.

    Yeah, it's a "bit" snowy isn't it? Geez. I hope you don't get stuck anywhere for too long. You really do take trains a lot, don't you? I bet the best place to accidentally bump into you is on a train station. :) I did that once, so I should know. Not that you'd remember that - I was too chicken to say hi (and slightly pissed because you ruined any chance I had at working during the trip, he he). Trains are good! Keep that up.

    Oh, "just a demo". I see. This is why we really want you guys to release old demos as b-sides, you know!!! You're demos tend to be above what other people call "finished" songs.

    Have a lovely time! Oh, two things: release party and tour dates. Some of us have to plan you know.

    spring, come already! though today it was actually SUNNY when i got to school. and sunny means the SUN was actually UP by the time! progress.

    Tourdates? Yes please, I would like to hear them also immediately when everything is sure fine and pieces them own place etc.! I will plan...almost my whole next spring/summer viewer when and where you might move around.

    And maybe one relief thing about this so-called cold and snowy winter is that next summer will be warm! I'm heard that will be so. What is this kind global warming?!

    This clip get excited to wait even more and more!! And okay everyone; let's boogie! ;)

    I am so angry! I had wrote a long story for you guys and the computer got a really breakdown, so now I only write a few words here.
    Keep up the good work and have a lot of fun, beacuse this life has becoming a lot funnier to live since I discouvered your music back for ten years ago. Your music is the biggest treasure for me, it stopped me from falling down on my knees and not be able to rise up again.
    But, can´t you soon give us some more tourdates?

  • Nice. It's thawing here, in Poland. +8°C is like a blessing... But I heard that we should expect the next Winter-attack at the beginning of March... Now I know at least, where's the source of it ;P.

    Hmm, so "Singing 'Bout The City" in the documentary was just a 'silly' demo? Neat. So I'm afraid how good the real version of that song can sound then! Cause I fell in love with this one already... Anyway, I can hardly wait for this new album and each day it's just getting worse ;)... But if you're extremely excited, so what can we say then? It's a good sign.

    And this video that you posted, was one of the very first ark-related clips I've ever seen. Can't believe it was almost 3 years ago... Time goes by...

    Taco barbecue brunch sounds very nice! I hope you got some ... Yes, I get nice summer vibes when I watch Ola's yellow sunglasses and red glove! :)

    Personally I was locked in my house for three days during the snow storm. Now we can get the car out, at least, and reach civilization again. But it looks like Sibiria around here, I have never seen such snow walls before.

    I chose not to watch the documentary - yeah, I know, I'm odd, but the person who wrote the line "I'm one of a kind" ought to understand - but actually I DID see the little clip with the new song. I liked it. I really wish you all the success you deserve right now.

    Hey, are you going to have some record signing as well? (NOT just in Malmö, I mean.) I once swore that I would never stand in a line to get something signed by you, but ... eh, I would be glad to support you in any way I can.
